I am pleased to announce the next intakes of the Online Orientation to Oncology Social Work Training Programme.
This programme has been developed for social workers who wish to strengthen their knowledge, confidence and clinical skills in oncology, palliative care and psychosocial oncology. Whether you work in the public sector, private practice, hospice care or community services, this training provides practical, evidence-informed learning that can be applied immediately.

Learning Commitment & CPD Expectations

From Session 3 onwards, participants are required to complete approximately one hour of preparatory reading per session.
This preparation:

  • Deepens in-session discussion
  • Supports applied case-based learning
  • Contributes to the programme’s expanded notional learning hours (±28)
  • Aligns with SACSSP expectations for structured CPD
